"GROWING UP IN THE RESTAURANT BUSINESS WITH MY IMMIGRANT FAMILY TAUGHT US ABOUT HARD WORK"
George Stroumboulis is a Greek-Canadian entrepreneur, CEO and co-founder of Ideoli Group, keynote speaker, and host of Invigorate Your Business. His work connects international business, custom manufacturing, and the people behind the companies.
Born in Toronto to Greek immigrant parents, George built his approach to business in his family’s restaurant: work hard, treat people well, and earn their trust. Those lessons have stayed with him through ventures in lighting, real estate, and television, and now shape the conversations he shares with entrepreneurs around the world.
At Ideoli, George leads a multinational team creating custom lighting and interior solutions for commercial spaces. His work brings together product development, sourcing, manufacturing, and global logistics to turn a design idea into a finished installation.
Ideoli’s products are installed in more than 30 countries, with clients including Tesla, Microsoft, Aston Martin, Mattel, Mandarin Oriental, WeWork, and Hilton. Building across markets has taught George the value of understanding local cultures, choosing dependable partners, and following through on commitments.
Before Ideoli, George was part of the founding team at Solais Lighting, later acquired by PowerSecure. He also launched GreekPropertyExchange.com, a platform connecting international buyers with property in Greece, and created Hellenic Home Hunting, a reality television series about the Greek property market.
George studied Business Administration at Brock University in Canada, studied in France, worked in Northern Ireland, completed an internship in Greece, and lived and worked in New York City.
George’s parents, Evangelos and Dimitra, emigrated from Greece to Canada in the 1970s. When he was four, they purchased the restaurant that would remain part of the family’s life for more than three decades.
Growing up alongside his sister, Bessie, George saw the effort behind running a small business: long hours, shared responsibility, and relationships built one customer at a time. His Greek heritage and Canadian upbringing continue to influence how he works, connects with people, and raises his own family.
On Invigorate Your Business with George Stroumboulis, George sits down with founders, executives, creators, athletes, and other people whose experiences offer a different perspective on business and life. The conversations explore how people get started, navigate setbacks, build relationships, and keep moving forward.

George’s wife and three daughters are at the center of his life. His work takes him around the world, but being present for his family remains a priority.
That same curiosity has taken him skydiving in the United States, bungee jumping in China, hang gliding in Brazil, and shark diving in South Africa. Whether meeting a new business partner or exploring somewhere unfamiliar, he values the people and experiences that make the journey worthwhile.
