In a recent interview on Odyssey TV Network, journalist Peter Milonas had the opportunity to speak with the esteemed Robert Peck, the Former Ambassador of Canada to Greece. The focus of the discussion was The Hellenic Initiative Canada Wildfire Relief Campaign for Greece, a crucial effort to address the devastating wildfires in the country.

During the interview, George Stroumboulis, the CEO of Ideoli, was highlighted for his company's remarkable contribution. Ideoli generously donated an impressive quantity of 10,000 units of KN95 masks to Greece, aiming to provide essential support to the courageous firefighters and other individuals tackling the wildfires directly.

The collaboration between Robert Peck and George Stroumboulis, both individuals highly regarded for their dedication and experience, truly underscores the magnitude of the relief campaign's impact. These combined efforts are a testament to the unwavering commitment to assisting Greece in overcoming the challenges posed by these wildfires.

The Hellenic Initiative Canada and the Doctors of the World Organization, the masks will get in the hands of the right people working to bring these horrendous fires to an end.

This is a very generous donation by a proud Greek Canadian businessmen who works in the United States and we have helped facilitate a contact with doctors of the world who will be able to put these masks to very good use.
— Ambassador Robert Peck

Greece is suffering with severe forest fires throughout the country that are taking lives, displacing people from their homes and causing destruction.

Robert Peck, Honorary director of The Hellenic Initiative Canada said: "These past few weeks we have all witnessed unprecedented damage in Greece. When you look at the extent of the fires particularly in the northern half of Evia. Clearly many many people, average Greeks have been devastated. We've worked very closely with the doctors of the world, Médecins du Monde, very proud of the fact that a Greek Canadian who is co-founder of an American company called ideoli has worked with us to donate 10,000 KN95 masks to Greece which are going to be shipped very very soon from New York. Obviously with the smoke and the dangers related to smoke inhalation these masks will be very very useful. And also unfortunately the covid situation continues, so this is a very generous donation by a proud Greek Canadian businessmen who works in the United States and we have helped facilitate a contact with doctors of the world who will be able to put these masks to very good use. THI wants to show solidarity with Greece at a very very difficult time".
