Cover of the Wall Street Journal in Grand Central Terminal

The big thing for us at the time, 10 years ago, was that someone from The Wall Street Journal saw a write-up somewhere.

They were so intrigued by it that they ended up coming to interview us. I remember the moment vividly as I stood at Grand Central Station, about to catch a train. For those who've never experienced it, Grand Central is like the ultimate train station in the world, with an almost magical aura surrounding it. And on that very morning, as I made my way to Greenwich, Connecticut, something extraordinary unfolded. As I scanned through the front page of The Wall Street Journal, there it was—a full spread featuring the show I was a part of.

To see my face gracing the cover, accompanied by a family photo and a detailed write-up, I couldn't help but feel a sense of surrealism wash over me. Sitting there in Grand Central, gazing up at the massive headline, I couldn't help but exclaim in disbelief, "The Wall Street Journal covered this! And it's positive!" It was an overwhelming and incredible moment, one that made me shout, "Oh my God, this is absolutely amazing!"

  1. Not a Station, But a Terminal: Despite its common name, Grand Central is not a station but a terminal. A station is typically a stopping point along a rail line, while a terminal is the endpoint, serving as a hub for multiple rail lines. Grand Central is the terminus for several Metro-North Railroad lines.

  6. Hidden Tennis Court: During World War II, a secret tennis court was constructed in the terminal's lower level. It was used by soldiers returning from the war to relax and exercise.

  7. Grand Central Cats: Grand Central Terminal is home to a population of feral cats. The cats are cared for by the station's master electrician and help control the rodent population.

  8. Movie and TV Appearances: Grand Central Terminal has been a popular location for movies and TV shows. It has appeared in numerous films, including "North by Northwest" and "The Fisher King," and TV series like "Gossip Girl" and "Mad Men."
