ENTREPRENEUR IN THE MAKING FOR MY MIDDLE CHILD

Sometimes the best lessons in business don’t come from boardrooms or strategy meetings. Sometimes they come from watching your kids bring an idea to life.

Sometimes the best lessons in business don’t come from boardrooms or strategy meetings. Sometimes they come from watching your kids bring an idea to life.

Recently, my daughter Viviana created her own storefront for a school project called VIVI’S BEAUTY SUPPLIES, and her attention to detail completely blew me away.

This wasn’t just a simple class assignment. Viviana approached it like a real entrepreneur.

She designed her own logo, carefully chose the products she wanted to sell, asked for branded gift bags, and even requested LED lighting to make her store stand out. Of course, lighting happens to be dad’s specialty, so I appreciated that touch.

But what impressed me the most wasn’t just the creativity — it was the mindset.

During the school sales day, Viviana sold out of everything. Every item was gone. But instead of stopping there, she found a way to keep going. At one point she even lent money to her sister so she could restock and continue selling.

That’s when you realize something bigger is happening. This wasn’t just a project. It was entrepreneurial thinking in real time.

Creativity. Problem solving. Confidence. Resourcefulness.

All the traits that great entrepreneurs build over time. At the end of the day, Viviana came up to me and asked a simple question:

“Dad… can I run my own store one day?”

My answer was easy. You sure can, baby.

Watching your kids explore ideas, take risks, and build something from scratch is one of the most rewarding experiences as a parent. Moments like these remind me that entrepreneurship isn’t just about business — it’s about imagination, courage, and believing that you can create something of your own.

And if this project was any indication, VIVI’S BEAUTY SUPPLIES might just be getting started. 💄✨

But what impressed me the most wasn’t just the creativity — it was the mindset.
