KEYNOTE SPEAKER AT THE HELLENIC INITIATIVE'S ACCELERATE GREECE 2026 PROGRAM IN TORONTO
The Hellenic Initiative has officially announced George Stroumboulis as the keynote speaker for Accelerate Greece 2026, taking place September 21–26, 2026, in Toronto, Canada.
Accelerate Greece is The Hellenic Initiative's flagship startup acceleration program, designed to support Greece's most promising technology companies as they prepare to scale internationally. Each year, a select group of founders is chosen to participate in an immersive week of mentorship, executive workshops, investor introductions, and strategic networking with leading entrepreneurs, venture capital firms, angel investors, and industry experts from across North America.
George Stroumboulis will share insights from building Ideoli Group into a multinational lighting solutions provider operating across more than 30 countries. Throughout his entrepreneurial journey, he has built businesses spanning Europe and North America, successfully co-founded and exited an LED technology company that later became publicly traded, and has helped establish Ideoli as a trusted global partner to internationally recognized brands including Tesla, Microsoft, Aston Martin, Mandarin Oriental, and Hilton.
His keynote will focus on building businesses beyond borders, developing meaningful international relationships, navigating the realities of global expansion, and embracing resilience when entrepreneurship doesn't go according to plan. Drawing from decades of firsthand experience, George will share practical lessons on scaling internationally, earning trust across cultures, and creating long-term business success through relationships rather than transactions.
